Draft. This text is waiting for legal review and may change before launch.
These are the rules for using Evedust, a marketplace for students. By making an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Evedust.
Evedust is for university students and the people who buy from or work with them. You must give true information and keep your password private. One person, one account; one account can buy, sell, offer services, hire, find work and deliver.
We can suspend an account that breaks these rules, puts others at risk, or is used to cheat. You can ask us to delete your account at any time from Me > Account.
You may list items, services, jobs and businesses that are legal and really yours to offer. You may not list stolen goods, weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, exam cheating or forged documents, adult content, or anything that breaks the law where you or the buyer live.
We may remove a listing, hide a business page or suspend an account after reports or on our own review. We tell you why.
When you buy, your money is paid to Evedust’s payment provider and held in escrow. It is released to the seller only after you confirm you received what you paid for, or after the automatic release time shown in your order if you say nothing and have not reported a problem.
Always pay inside Evedust. If someone asks you to pay or be paid outside the app, you lose this protection. Delivery fees, job payments and service milestones also go through Evedust. A deliverer who is paid outside Evedust is flagged, and three flags suspend their account.
Evedust keeps a percentage of each completed sale, job or service payment (5% at launch) and of a deliverer’s fee (5% at launch), and charges for optional paid boosts. The rate in force when you pay is shown in your order and never changes for that order afterwards. We may change the rates for future orders.
If something is wrong, report it from your order. The seller gets a chance to reply, and Evedust decides what is fair. Large cases are decided by two staff members. A refund goes back to the way you paid. Money for a case under review is not paid out until it is decided.
Only people who completed a real order can review it. Fake, abusive or copied reviews are removed. Be respectful in chat. We may read a conversation only when it is reported or becomes part of a dispute.
A seller can hire a student deliverer. The fee is paid into Evedust by the person you agree should pay, and released to the deliverer when the buyer gives them the handover code. Only give the code once the item is in your hands.
Evedust connects buyers and sellers and protects payments. We do not make, own, inspect or guarantee the items, services or jobs listed by students, and we are not responsible for what they do. We work hard to keep Evedust running, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted.
Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it applies. Questions: contact Evedust support through the app.
